Sample images are available on candidnet.candid.com
for use on order forms and on your website. They
are under the Marketing/Bus. Development tab, under
sample images. To add images to your website we have
provided html coding that can be copied and pasted
into the product description on QP2. It is important
to show a product rendering on your website, especially
if offering more than one style.
CCS
is very excited to announce the availability
of a new product - KlingOns™, Images
with Impact. If you have been watching
any television lately then you have no doubt
seen ads for a similar product called FatHeads. These
are becoming wildly popular among sports fans,
who purchase this product of a predetermined
image (NFL star or team helmet, for example). We
think your customers will want their very own
giant wall stickers of their own image
that you take of them at a sports event, race,
party or graduation.
To
take advantage of this trend, CCS has acted
quickly by purchasing the equipment and software
to produce these repositionable vinyl wall
stickers and work this into our production
workflow. The KlingOn
product is available in the following QP2 markets:
Sports, Race, Grad, QuicPics, PPS and Prom. It
is also in CORE Sports now and will be in CORE Prom,
Race, and Grad on next Tuesday, November 20th.
There are five different sizes of KlingOns and the
lab prices are below. Instructions for hanging the
KlingOn™ come with each product. They
are shipped in a tube separately but at the same
time as the rest of the customer’s order.
KlingOns™ are definitely best of full length
images. They are fun for kid’s bedrooms
and game rooms. What kid wouldn’t want
their own sports action shot for their bedroom wall
making them the star? Imagine a classic
car enthusiast getting his 1957 Chevy BelAir as a
KlingOn™ in his garage. What about a Big Sis/Little
Sis KlingOn™ for a new member’s dorm
room? Or a race KlingOn™ commemorating a runner’s
first marathon? The possibilities are endless.
You can order KlingOn samples at http://www.picmyphotos.com/,
password- samplessamples, as well as finding the
HTML on candidnet under Marketing/Business Development,
them Sample Images.
This product is another booking advantage for you
and one that will definitely create “buzz” for
your business. How many of your competitors
offer this to their customers? Be the first
to bring this customized wall sticker to your market – pretty
soon your customers will be saying, “Bring
on my KlingOn™!”

Branded Level 2 Sports Marketing DVDs Now
Available!!
by Brian
Speers
Level
2 Sports marketing DVDs, which are branded with your company’s
logo and information, are now available through the
CCS marketing department. The idea of a sports
marketing DVD suitable for presentation to league
officials, athletic directors and school principals
was hatched
at the CCS winter seminar earlier this year in Miami.
This
marketing DVD, which is 2 minutes and 19
seconds long, is the perfect tool to introduce
and demonstrate how a simple action shot,
or simulated “action” shot
can be transformed into a graphic explosion of
color and creativity. Level 2 products have
been a big hit around the country and have opened
doors to sports photography opportunities that
would previously not have been available.
With
this marketing opportunity you will have four branding
placements: twice within the video—at
the beginning and the end; the label on the DVD
disc; and the branded insert on the cover of the
DVD dick case.
To take advantage of this excellent marketing opportunity
we will need the logo of your company in jpeg format
at 72 dpi, and all of your pertinent contact information
including contact name, address, phone #, website
address, email address, and other information that
you feel is important to convey to your clients.
The cost for creating these personalized branded
DVDs is $60 for the setup and $75 for a minimum
of 10 DVDs. In addition, CCS will archive
your version of the video just in case you want
to reorder more DVDs for future use. Turnaround
time for this service will be 3-5 days.
If you would like to view the content of this video
go to: candidnet.candid.com; then navigate to Marketing/Business
dev.; and then to Level 2 video.
If you are looking to get into sports, or, if you
are already a CCS sports customer, offering Level
2 products is a exciting way to introduce your
company to league or school officials. This video
can be your ticket to creating more sports business!Candidnet

On the
Candidnet Menu there is a Category Titled Price List.
You can find
not only the CCS products & services price list in this area of the website
but also price lists for FedEx Shipping and Marketing Materials.
FedEx Shipping: There are a number of documents listed in this category
to assist you.
FedEx
Shipping info.pdf – This documents
provides information to help you navigate
http://www.fedex.com. You
can reference this document for staff training.
FedEx-OKC
Zone Locator.pdf & FedEx-OK-Oklahoma
City ZONE MAP.pdf – These two documents
can be used to determine shipping costs of
packages being shipped from the lab. If
you need to know what shipping will cost
to send a package directly to a customer you
would use one of these 2 documents to determine
the cost. The ZONE MAP is a visual
locator of the zones and the Zone Locator
lists the zones by zip code. For example,
you are shipping a pictures directly from
the lab to a customer in San Diego, CA. Looking
at the Zone Map you would determine that
San Diego is in zone 6. You would then
open the CCS-FedEx Express Rates.xls and
the CCS-FedEx Commercial & Residential
Ground Rates.xls to determine what the shipping
rates are to that zone.
CCS-FedEx
Express Rates.xls – Lists the Express
Shipping rates by zone & weight.
CCS-FedEx
Commercial & Residential Ground Rates.xls – Lists
the Ground Shipping rates by zone & weight.

As
a mother of three little ones, my children are
photographed by professional photographers several
times a year. Every time by a different
photographer; some
photos are hanging on my wall at home, some are
still in the package I received them in. This
idea caused me to realize… I don’t
have a relationship with any of my photographers!
Why? Nobody has tried!
Building a relationship with your customers will result in unsolicited repeat
sales, referrals, and positive word of mouth marketing. This can be the
difference in having
a photography business and having a thriving photography business!
How do you build a relationship with your customers? Here’s a few
ideas…
• Make
an effort to make a good impression. Always
underpromise and overdeliver! Ask
your customers what else they want
and give it to them! This
can result in many upsells you
didn’t expect!
• Keep
a good customer base and contact
them frequently. Remind them you
are still around and you care about
them! Be
personal; let them get to know
you.
•
Ask for letters of recommendations
and post them on your website and
around your studio.
