Presort
First Class, the company we use to
process our USPS mail, has recently raised their
fee for this service by 1 cent, from $0.07 to
$0.08, for Non-Barcoded Flats. A Non-Barcoded
Flat is a 9x11 envelope that does not pass the
Post Office required address verification software,
addresses that are altered in the lab, and/or
all flats during our low volume days. In calendar
2007, Non-Barcoded Flats represented approximately
3% of the total Flat volume sent thru the lab.
We
will make this change effective August 18, 2008.
This will not affect the current $0.05 Presort
fee for Barcoded Flats. Therefore, on June 2,
Presort fees for Flats will be $0.05 for Barcoded
Flats and $0.08 for Non- Barcoded Flats.
In order to ensure that your Flats can be verified
with the address software required by the Post
Office, you need a good, valid, complete address.
This includes apartment numbers, correct info
if ST, RD, CIR, (abbreviations for Street, Road,
Circle) etc. Please contact Customer Support for

Sitebuilder is a browser-based website creation and
editing application that is easy to use. The program
interface provides an effortless way for you to create,

the candid color domain. For example: www.yourname.candidcolor.com.
